New Beginnings

ceratopteris is water sprite right?

yes, that is correct. I didn't think it got a fair chance last time as I almost immediately left and didn't put the lights on as I couldn't dose....

Looking forward to pics, love peacock gobies :)

Yes, me too; they are such an underrated fish I think.

Alright, later than promised, but here they are, my peacock gobies! :wizard: :wizard:

Aren't they gorgeous?

Just as expected, lovely!

Are you feeding them non-dry stuff as they're like killis in their diet aren't they?

I finally got around taking pictures of the tank and show you an update, after cleaning. I am not happy with the new watersprite on the right hand side. It looks very brittle and my angels seem to have developed a liking for them (see also in the pictures)...

So if somebody have a suggestion for an Asian low light plant for the right hand side... :fun:

I am happy with how my java fern is developing. Most leaves are green now and little necropsy. I think it has to do with the fertiliser. I have been dosing diligently and it shows.

I urgently need to get some more hideaways for the loaches though as you can see that the favourite place from one of my histrionicas is behind the heater in the corner! I want to keep it natural though so wonder what I could do?

Here are the pictures:

A rare picture of one of my zebra loaches (these fish are shy and it is hard to catch them  )

Thanks for looking! Comments and suggestions welcome!

Ludwigia repens did well in my low light. It turned green but I though it was very beautiful as a green plant. Very very slow growth on it though.

Thanks FF, but Ludwigia is a Northamerican plant. I am looking for Asian. Apart from the angels everything in this tank is Asian, even the wood that I brought from Vietnam

Really??? Proof that you can't take a websites data for granted. I read specifically Origin: Southeast Asia. I need to make sure I am checking multiple places. Do you have a specific site that you use for plant information?
