ummm, depending on the size of the catfish, i didnt have any problems with my pictus cats, just make sure there are enough hiding places, as for the clown loach i have never kept them so i am not sure, i guess they would be ok as long as they did not get in each others way. it really comes down...

i have a 30 gal with no real plants in it, so the algae grows unopposed, while it does not completely dominate my tank, it is starting to grow very noticeably thick on my decorations(caves fake plants). i was wondering if there were any options of there than buying an algae eating fish.

i recently(about 3 days ago) added 2 otos to my tank, they however dont seem to be eating, iv tried giving them cucumber (which the barbs eat the soft part of) and algae wafers, and blood worms, and there is brown algae in the tank as well. i put the cucumber in the back in the plants so that...

yea i know it wont survive on just algea, i already have wafers that i feed to my catfish and also i know plecos like cucumber.

u should be fine, just make sure you have a gentle way of moving them
