Breeding Green And Regular Tiger Barbs

i was just wondering, has anyone successfully bred a regular tiger barb with a green tiger barb? i realize that green TB are just reguar TB but with fully bodied stripes, but i think a mix b/t the two would be really cool lookin

They would breed in exactly the same manner as regular TB's. Question really is why? Groups have spent years trying to "fix" the green strain, and then you want to deliberately water it down and produce mongrels. There are enough poor quality fish around already. Still, whatever floats your boat.

i was not planning on doing it, i was just a thought that had crossed my mind eariler and i was just wondering if it had ever happind to anyone.
