I'd leave the meds in there until they get water changed out naturally. Make sure you up the temp to 80, but only after you've medicated. The whole thing should be done and dusted inside a week. Incidentally I've used interpet anti whitespot successfully on clown loaches at half dose.

Forget the water and gravel- it's the filter you want to move over to be fine. If you're buying a new filter or have one with the bigger tank, then run it on the old tank for a few weeks before the move.

Well, the only reason I suggest a big change is because you don't want to put the fish in to the middle of a cycle. You could just wait until your stats are normal (stop dosing) and move over the fish and filter in one go. Hope you feel better soon!

You'll be fine with corys. In fact maybe a few more bottom dwellers like yoyo or zebra loaches would go down well, and/or a smaller plec. Top/middle I reckon you're pretty full up.
