Finally got all my live plants in this past week . Took out all my old fake plants and replaced them with live ones, Amazon swords, anachris and bamboo shoots.Waiting on my Corkscrew vals to come in this week. Rearranged a few things as well. Added a brand new heater and 2 new bubble strips for...

Im having some what of the same problem with my Male Krib. I have him in a 29gal tank with 3 females and the only thing he wants to do is chase them around. At times it even looks like hes hunting for them to aggrevate them to death.

WOW ! Thanks for all your replys and the ID of him. :*) Im not too familiar with Gouramis, my wife brought him home one day, not sure where she purchased him from either. Is there an easy way to tell males from females in this species ?Seeing how he needs a tank mate :P

Thankies :*) I dont know how to sex Gouramis, but i Call it a He. Hes so easy to photograph, loves attention and is somewhat of a camera hog. Always getting into all of my pics when i take them of the other fish.

I have had him/her for about 9 months now. Can anyone ID what type of Gourami this is for me? Im guessing a Dwarf Gourami.

Yeppers it cycled for the week and a half b4 adding the fish, i also used one of my filters from my 55 gal tank on the new 29 gal for a week to help with the cycling. I hope thats not bad :/ /edit I also posted in another thread about the Melafix...does it supposed to make the water smell funny ?

Does melafix supposed to make your water smell funny?

Sorry, that was a typo, Nitrate is 10ppm I also noticed the 2 that have died, were males. As you can see by my sig i had 3 of each gender.

I have lost 1 fish a day for 2 days now and dont know why :crazy: I noticed the fish are losing their color and getting a whitish color. They are all still eating good and regularly. Active in the tank, swimming around chasing after one another. Any ideas as to what it can be? Here is my...

Ill more than likely get the 29g and one of those stands so i can add another tank on the bottom of it, say a 20g . Then get a smaller tank for the stoopid carnival Goldfish to get him outof the 55. But, im just tossin ideas around now, you know ill change my mind like 20 times beore i finally...
