Help please

I have lost 1 fish a day for 2 days now and dont know why
I noticed the fish are losing their color and getting a whitish color.
They are all still eating good and regularly. Active in the tank, swimming around chasing after one another. Any ideas as to what it can be?
Here is my water parameters

Nitrate 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Hardness 75(GH) ppm (soft)
Akalinity 40(KH) ppm
PH level 6.8-7.0
Ammonia 0 ppm

This is in a 29 Gallon Kribensis Tank. All live plants.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gosh, I don't know anything about kribensis, but maybe there is something polluting the tank....dead fish somewhere? Have you done a water change lately?

Is this an established tank? How long have you had it going? Your water parameters look good, but it is strange that you have zero nitrate. Have you done a very large water change recently?

Sorry, that was a typo, Nitrate is 10ppm
I also noticed the 2 that have died, were males. As you can see by my sig i had 3 of each gender.

How's your temperature?? I am at a loss for an explanation too!! (Not that I'm a guru or anything). At one time, my daughter had scratched my thermometer off, and unplugged my heater at the same time, so I didn't notice that the temp was down. This caused me to lose 2 fish before I noticed what was going on. This is why I ask such a stupid question. Good luck, and keep everyone posted on how ur tank is doing, and what the problem was.

Water temp is at 78F/25c.

I don't see anything that flashes any red signals to me - - but you didn't answer my question about when the tank was cycled. How long have you had it running? Pardon my being blunt, but are you relatively new to fishkeeping, or experienced?

Is there anything at all you've done differently lately? Used water additives, or used chemicals around the tank? Or had your hands in the water with something on them maybe? Treated with medication recently? Has anything you've done with the tank correlated to when you started losing fish? A big water change? Changing lighting? Adding plants? Temperature or pH changing? Chewing bubble gum?

Okay, chewing bubble gum probably wouldn't have an effect, but still...

Your water paramters look good. The most likely culprits would seem to me to be something foreign in the tank, or a sickness. If it were me, I'd add some aquarium salt, but only about one-fourth to half the dose recommended to avoid irritating the pleco any more than necessary - and do 20% or so water changes daily for the next four or five days. See if that doesn't liven them up a bit.

What kind of filtration are you running? Do you have any carbon in there?

I dont know about being experienced or not, but i have been managing a 55 gal community tank for the past 3 years. The Kribensis are the only thing that new to me. The first ones i have ever owned.
Yes im running a Aquatech 20-40 with a EZ-Change carboned filter cartridge that has a good amount of substrate on it.
Tank has only been up and running now for about a week and a half. I added the Kribs to it this past Saturday.
Only thing i have added was a clay pot yesterday, that was after one death of one of them males.
I boiled the pot for half hour after letting it soak in water for about 2 hours and did the vinegar test.It was a new pot, no pesticides or anything ever touched it to my knowledge.
I added some MelaFix to the tank last night. Other than that, pretty much all i have done.
ALso just got off the phone with Rollntider, another member here, who bought 2 Kribs the same day i did, and he said he lost his male last night as well.

Hmmm. I don't know what else to add. Run the course with the Melafix and see if it helps.

You cycled it before adding fish, I presume?

Yeppers it cycled for the week and a half b4 adding the fish, i also used one of my filters from my 55 gal tank on the new 29 gal for a week to help with the cycling.
I hope thats not bad

He used established media from his 55 gallon tank. plus he put his pleco in there for a bit before he added the kribs and then took the plec out when he got the kribs. no ammo spikes or nitrite spikes. I am at a loss also, unless the fish were sick . I also lost one from the same store.
