What fish would be compatible with my molly & catfish?

Molly's like hard water though some put them in lower end brackish which I guess to each their own, but hopefully that gives you an idea for mollys

What fish would be compatible with my molly & catfish?

Everyone is going to tell you more Cory's and molly's. Just be ready because corys are a big deal on the forums

    Do shrimp kill snails?

My shrimp groom the gunk off the back of my snails or if one dies they'll go for it but other than that they really shouldn't. Theres always an outlier though it seems and will do the opposite of the usual behavior.
  4. FallenPepper

    Ok finally somthing that works

But did you do a water change? It also sounds like your tank cycle isn't complete or possibly overstocked.

Gotta look for those sales I guess, but I love mine I can just set it and forget it unless it loses power then it needs a reset. Do what you can though it can be on the pricier side

Can you ID this mysterious snails?

Racer nerite only snail I can keep with my puffers because of their low shell profile. They try but just bounce off of em when they charge it full speed across the tank lol.

    Paradise fish

All these tanks were $100 or less. Only issue I got is lack of room lol. Just gotta hunt!

    Corydoras substrate?

Please dm me for further explanation

    Corydoras substrate?

Honestly my point from the beginning was gravels good and your just going on this crusade now and its lost it's fun. So I'll keep this very simple so maybe you'll finally get what I'm saying. SAND GOOD GRAVEL OK

Get a fluval bluetooth light it's about $20 more and worth it can't remember the name but I have 14 of them all of my tanks
  26. FallenPepper

    Corydoras substrate?

Dont insult my intellect and say I have a problem my point is that it isn't neccessary to completely make a fishes home exactly like it's natural habitat. Though if that's the case maybe you should look into ponds for all your fish? That is the best was to replicate it I feel no?

Tank size matters in this case 10g is a small tank but I'd recommend looking for used tanks they're a lot cheaper and $50 can get you a 100g possibly. Hell I snagged a 75g free with stand. Maybe bring it up to your parents and see if you can go bigger than the 30g. Then your only limited to...

Territory disputes would be the issue unfortunately, but keep on planning for that 30g this summer itll be here before you know it
  29. FallenPepper

    Interesting observation

Good natural filter there I'd keep it and tbh I'm a little jealous
  30. FallenPepper

    Corydoras substrate?

Domestication and captivity of an animal naturally changes a few things. Do you let your dog hunt for its food?
  31. FallenPepper

    Corydoras substrate?

And they can eat just fine without sand
  32. FallenPepper

    What tank to get?

Fahaka puffers can get to a foot plus and 75g are generally 4×2. It can get a little cramped. I am biased on this puffer in particular though its the only puffer I've kept that I wasn't a fan of so do keep that in mind.
  33. FallenPepper

    What tank to get?

75g is one of the best sizes out there. It allows you to do so much with it and not overcrowd it. A fahaka puffer wouldnt really work in a 55. Puffers get bored very easily and that leads to nipping and eating other fish. If you want puffers though amazon/bumblebee puffers can be in a group and...
  34. FallenPepper

    White bacteria ?

If its fuzzy its moldy food if not and it's a film you need more air/current in your tank along with more water changes
  35. FallenPepper

Rapid breathing from most fish in tank

Increase air in tank as well but that's the general fix for most health issues
