It looks like a type of nerite snail - there are several species though I suppose strictly speaking nerites should be in the genus Neritina. But I can't explain how it got there as the eggs need to be in salt water to hatch and develop.

Do a search for images of nerite snail and see if yours matches one of them.

Racer nerite only snail I can keep with my puffers because of their low shell profile. They try but just bounce off of em when they charge it full speed across the tank lol.

Its 2 inch big though

You might also need to research snails which are native to your country as it could have got in from outside somehow.

Just contacted the seller they said it is a “black military helmet snail”

Nerites eat some types of algae, but usually not the problem kind.

No. Nerites do lay eggs which look like sesame seeds all over the decor. But the eggs need salt water to hatch, and the larvae need salt water to grow in. When they mature into proper snails, they live in fresh water.
