Hello! I currently have fry babies (one is for sure a molly but the other two might be platys). I was wondering when would be a good time to put them in with the adults. As of now- they are close to half an inch (I would guess a bit larger than a fourth of an inch).

Do you have pictures? If they are orange- they are likely platys. Silver/black/mixed colors could be mollies, especially if they are longer bodied as well!

Okay! You can also try getting API's PH helper. They have one that helps keep the PH up and one to bring it down. Just test regularly and if the ammonia and nitrites are too high- do bigger water changes.
