    A good floating plant?

I actually like water lettuce. I had used it in my pond and put it in my tank for the winter, I only put little peices in which are short, and they stayed almost flat with the water, however the can grow probably about 4inches out of the water, they do learn to stay short. Heres a pic: Zac

    Combining Tanks

Today I attempted to combine two tanks by removing the two end peices. Didnt go so well. The silicone holding the top rim on was sooo strong after spending about an hour trying to get it loose enough the large side (not end) cracked from side to side. LOL... I'm not sure what I'll do but has...

    Driftwood Anchor

No offense but you will never get a good hole through a CD case, they are VERY brittle, it will crack easily... If you do however.... Your Special! LOL Good idea though let us know if it works. Oh and on that note, I would use silicone! No drilling.

    Homemade Glass Aqua.

I am thinking about building a GIANT tank in a spear room, I am wondering what is the maximum size of a glass tank that will support the water. Now to make that clearer, if I make a very large tank, what is the true maximum for a single pane of glass. The front panel I am scared may shatter...

new to all this, any help much appriciated

Ok, I am a newb too so this isn't going to be good, I think the longer the tank sits and cycles the better, you want to get it to the proper temp before you put the fish in and make sure the temp is consistant for a day or two. For your fish you first have to decide what sort of kinds you want...

    Pleco ran out of food...

Hello! I have a fresh water aquarium and my pleco has eaten soooo much! All of the algae is gone! I think you can put slices of fruit elasticed to a rock down on the bottom for them to eat. Is this what I should do? What fruit? Should I put some sort of algae starter in??? Thx Zac :fun:
