Thanks guys. So my lights are on a timer and it comes on about half 5 in the afternoon and goes off around midnight. Is there anything else I can do apart from reduce light?

Hi everyone, my planted tank is about 3 weeks old and I’ve noticed some bits of hair algae starting to grow on the rocks and some on the java moss. Should I put some algae gone treatment in to try to combat this. I’m worried because it’s a new tank don’t know whether I should put it in or not?

Hi guys, I’ve just bought an aqua one ocellaris 1400 external filter for my 150l aquarium. The flow rate is claiming 1400lph but it seems a lot less. What can I put in there to increase the flow? Has anyone had any experience with wave makers in a planted tank?

Yeh. It’s not great either. It doesn’t even turn the water over twice an hour which is just not good enough for what i want.

Hi. I’ve just purchased a fluval 207 and set it up. However the noise coming out of it is horrendous like a continuous loud hum. I’ve tried taking it apart and putting it back together again to no avail. Any suggestions would be great.
