Just ammonia. I started a post u can read it through on what's going on with my cycle if you want. It's title is, thinking of starting a tank again.

Just did a test this morning. Not sure why the Nitrites have yet to go back down to 0. It went up instead. I forgot to add those floating things are back as well.   Ammonia 2.0 Nitrite 0.50 Natrate 0 PH 7.6

Iam too starting a new tank. It's almost a month and mines isn't cycled just yet. Iam waiting for nitrites to drop atm. Wish you luck!

My nitrite is at 0.25 finally dropped lol. Gonna add a drop of Ammonia tomorrow. Sorry I meant, I'm gonna test tomorrow if it's dropped to 0 then add the ammonia.

Boiling water would kill them for sure. I believe they are bristle worms too. I've seen small ones before in marine tanks.

pH is 7.2

looks like Nitrite is between 1.0-5.0 ammonia is between 0-0.25   it is hard to read bc of glare/shadow and the round rube.

Thanks the paper towel worked to remove the rest. I did another test tonight. Ammo is 0.25 nitrite 1.0

A bunch of barbs or panda Cory cats would look cool. Or cardinal tetras.

I'm not sure why the option to edit posts isn't available on mobile version of the forums so I have to make another reply. I added ammonia and removed those floating things as much as I can. I'll give it another 24hrs and test again.

Would smoothed tumbled stones still effect the water? I understand the raw forms can break down.

Ahh I use natural sunlight I will use the tanks light maybe. Yes it is blue but it seems to be slightly purple hue. I'll post an update tomorrow.

aqua plus i'm not sure what my KH is. nothing was added to the tank other than cribsea substrate. does the carbon filter have anything to do with it? it's been in the filter since start.

after the water change, i added the ammonia 1 drop. waited and checked, it read 1.0ppm. not done anything else since. ph is 7.6

Just did a test update. it's 3 days. Nitrite 0 Ammonia 1.0

no i added 5 drops after the water change.   edit: okay i read what you said wrong. I started over...   80% water change 1 drop ammonia   will report shortly on the results of this test.

it reads 2ppm atm

So I do 80% water change, add one drop every 30min(max 5), till it reads at least 2ppm?   edit: just did the water change will report in a few hours on the ammonia.
