The starfish is doing just fine in there, he's active and is doing a great job keeping the sand clean. According to what I've been reading and most forums Im ok with 1-2 small frag pieces like I have in there for the time its been wet.
I would like to know if turtle algae is a bad thing for a 24g nano, Im thinking of adding a small rock with it on but not too sure if it will be a bad idea, will it spread and go out of control? Thank you

Yes it is he doesnt like the bright light so he hides most of the day. The same with my Peppermint shrimp...not very keen on bright lights... I think Im goin to get some shrimp-sunny's for them :hyper: lol

I added 20lbs of it today into my 24g Nano, after pouring it in with all the LR out Im sure I saw these little shrimp looking like things only about 5mm long running over the sand bed into the cloud...its really alive! :hyper:

Hi I live in London UK and have started a new ORCA 24g, Its been running for about a week now with 9kg of live rock and mixed salt water. My reading are looking good and the algea is ready for a cleaning crew. Hope to be of help and also to learn from more experience reef/fish keepers.
