Its no guarantee that he will eat it, some just doesnt want it. I was lucky to get 1 that ate it and after the first night it (Aiptasia) was all gone.

The starfish is doing just fine in there, he's active and is doing a great job keeping the sand clean. According to what I've been reading and most forums Im ok with 1-2 small frag pieces like I have in there for the time its been wet.

Oh ok, the one's he gave me are about 2"x3" and on the box it says for tank 120g +

The Pistor shrimp been real buzy digging away I can only see the back of his cave where the sand pile is.

maybe a single polyp head in its first stage of growing...not sure.

Its even better from where I sit :drinks: . I also added a Gobu and a Pistol shrimp, the Goby is checking everything out like he's ready to buy.

I would like to know if turtle algae is a bad thing for a 24g nano, Im thinking of adding a small rock with it on but not too sure if it will be a bad idea, will it spread and go out of control? Thank you

Oh sure Losi, its an old SONY DSC-V3 7.2Mp it has lots of manual setting and the quality it great, zoom is only 4x but hey... it works.

The sand shifter (starfish) is really active, he like to sail over the sand and then finds a spot to sinks into the sand...sit for 20min and off he goes again. I also recon the Rowaphos bag between the sponges works quite well. The snail is a bit lazy he's been sitting in the same corner for...

Yes it is he doesnt like the bright light so he hides most of the day. The same with my Peppermint shrimp...not very keen on bright lights... I think Im goin to get some shrimp-sunny's for them :hyper: lol

I forgot to add my 2 hermit crabs, real funny characters... this 1 has been wrestling this shell for the past hour and a half.

Thanks, the fan in there is a Hydor Koralia they come in 4 different sizes that one is a #1 @ 1500lph, it works quite well.

Here's a pic of my nano, Its been wet for nearly 4 weeks now. I have 1x cleaner shrimp, 1x real peppermint shrimp, 4x turbo snails, 1x nassarius snail, 1x sand shifting starfish and 1x small crab (white with black clippers) :rolleyes:

Yes its sad that theres people like that, not sure what to do with ol' Camel now? What shrimp would you say is the best all-rounder?

I went to a not so local shop to get a Peppermint shrimp for my Orca 24g, spoke with the guy about those shrimps and decided to take one. After letting it free the shrimp headed straight for the overhang where I could get a nice view of the critter. After stairing at the shrimp for about 15min...

I dont mind it being there aslong as it does something productive and will not harm the others in the aquarium.

I installed my new night light this afternoon and turned it on after dark, not long and this worm came creeping out... :crazy: surely that thing cant be good...look at it! Should he be or does he need to go? a not so good pic of the night light Thank you

I added 20lbs of it today into my 24g Nano, after pouring it in with all the LR out Im sure I saw these little shrimp looking like things only about 5mm long running over the sand bed into the cloud...its really alive! :hyper:
