I’m currently trying to breed my apistogramma cacatuoides double red in a 20 tall community tank. I just got some Indian almond leaves at $10 for 10. Any cheaper alternative? I’m currently trying to get some tannins in the water for my apistos to be comfortable and hopefully breed.

Hydrogen peroxide is perfectly safe for fish. You just can’t put too much in tho.

I understand. I need to get a timer and I should be soon. I’m just using seachem flourish bc it’s not planted heavily at all. It’s fully stocked. I don’t understand how the algae appeared when i haven’t changed anything since the tanks was running

Ok. How do I know if it’s too many or not enough nutrients? Light is on 12 hours but is very weak. Never grown algae for like 5 months of the same dosing and light period
