I suck up the snail all the time... they go for a good tumble and then block the hole so so water can syphon out so I have to start over again :rolleyes:

I have never really been into platies, not that I don’t like them I just have enough livebearers. But he just stood out in the tank with his beautiful colours and that striking hi-fin I had to have him.

I will. Once he settles in I should be able to get better photos of him hopefully. He’s a real little stunner.

Hi all Hope you’re all well?! I went to my LFS today to replace Charlotte my balloon molly as the 2 boys were getting abit boisterous with each other since she passed.As I was looking in the other tanks I spotted this gorgeous little guy within all the normal platies. I had to take him home

They must be coming into breeding mode. I was looking at that boys earlier and their colours are really bright and they are getting boisterous, chasing and flaring up at each other. So I will look out for signs of spawning

I got rid of my main wisteria because it was just growing to much and throwing shoots out everywhere. I do have it in the shrimp tank and it grows well but steadily not like in the main tank. I think a black background would make it look amazing tbh, abit more rustic with all that drift in...

Never new they lay in substrate, I will look at this I think. I do have the cories so maybe they might be eating them if they are spawning in the substrate, do you think?

Why don’t you get some java moss for the drift? Abit more than last colour would make it pop too. But really I think it looks really cool

Wow a pet shop that labeled a bristlenose as a Cory catfish, I’ve heard it all now!! She is beautiful, you don’t need to do much just make sure she is feed algae waffles, fruit and veggies etc for a good diet. I have a handsome albino male, he is my little guy.
