got me fish about a week ago 3 pearl danios and 3 gold gouramis........one of me gouramis is already building a bubble nest and stays in the corner of the tank guarding it is this normal? also rest are doing fine will post pics later :good: :good: :good:

done another test today and ph is about between 7.6 and 7.2 tested tap water and it is the same ph :unsure:

125 litre not to sure how many gallon this is.. the tank is a rio 125

one piece about a 10" to a foot long pretty thick aswell is this enough?..... :unsure:

there is no ammonia in tank as i am doing a fishless cycle will my aerater be causing this problem?.......

put some bogwood in yesterday......how long will it be untill it takes affect?......... :unsure:

so what is the best fish for me as i am not asking the shop for advice anymore would african cichilds or other species be my best bet i was told to puy platties in but dont really care for them much :good: kinda like neon tetras but the ph will have to be about 6.5 to 6.8

i have done a test on my cycled tank and the ph is 7.2 but the fella in the shop says this is to high and the api test says this is normall well confused anyone shed some light on this please :shout: :shout: :good: if this is right how do i lower the ph

no fish today as ph was to high so had to put a lump of bog wood in to bring it down at least thats what i was told :crazy: :crazy:

i am do a cycle on my fish tank it is in the fourth day and bought a tetra test 5in1 test kit and cant seem to work the strips out no instructions in the box so i dipped one in the tank and it come out from bottom to top dark pink dark green then the other three are like a pinky purple...

is this enough plants and stuff or will i need more? new to this there is 9 plants two ornaments ten pebbles and a natural rock
