Luckily, i do work at an LFS, called Waterscapes, it its Otley. Ive always found myself and our other staff to be knowledgable and helpful so im very proud of where i work! Lets hope others can do the same.

Yeah, they had elephantnose fish in stock one at it was about 3 inches long they told me it had been bred in england and was fully grown. Now i know elephantnose can get to 9 inch and are all wild caught! Lol, they do have a great aquatic section if only the staff were more knowledgable.

Have you thought about butterfly fish? Google them to find out some more info, but they are a fairly large fish and stay at the top of the tank if thats what ru after. They dont move a lot and do stay right at the top of the tank but theyre incredibly interesting and unsual. IMO, look into them...

Hey You could try gouramis, get a pair or trio of opaline, golden, pearl, chocolate... Theyre a top/middle dweller and add colour and activity. You could try a shoal of rummynose tetras, for tetras they grow fairly large and a shoal of them would look great. Blind cave fish, i have 3 of these...

I was wondering how many types of corydoras are there cos ie heard of; Albino Peppered Adolfoi Panda Bronze Sterbai What else is there? BTW How many clown loach could you have in a 30g tank providing they wer only inhabitants? Not that i have any, just wondering!

A zebra pleco haven would be cool, providing exceptional filtration and ery aerated water. 500g full of them, specially as theyre so sociable it wud be a site for sore eyes!
