I got 2 Goldfish on 11.11.23. Set up a tank with filter and air pump. However I saw maybe blood.

Water test was done, all nitrites, nitrates , ammonia, chlorine is safe. Except pH is 6.3. water used is soft water.

I bought pH+ , still on way.

Please guide what is the issue and also confirm what type of Goldfish is this.

Kindly help !!!!!!!!!!

The orange and pink looks like natural colouring, except perhaps the spot to the rear of the dorsal fin. Is this the area you are referring to?

It might be just a bruise. Looking at the general appearance, that fish looks great.

It seems to be some kind of Fantail, Oranda or Ryukin...

Is the color on the top of the head and tail base new ?

It's not concerning now, it may even just be colouring, but monitor it and post again if there is a deterioration.

I also agree with Malok with Oranda. It looks like it is developing a wen on the top of it's head and doesn't have the humped back of a ryukin.

It will need really clean water in a 30+gallon/ 130+litre tank. Test for ammonia daily and do 50-75% water changes twice a week. What type of goldfish is the other one? I think it has a double tail (fantail) which is good. Double tails can be kept in tanks as they are slower swimmers, single tails need huge tanks or ponds. It also won't outcompete the white one for food.
