Also does any one use the skimmer in the back. It very fiddly by what I can see.

HI All, before I get bombarded with pictures :hyper: I thought I best add some. The little boy in the picture is my 2 year old Jimmy. I have got 16kg of live rock to collect next week & will start all off tomorrow :shifty: Does anyone use the skimmer?

Might be a better idea to get yourself a photobucket account (costs nothing) then you just upload your photos and copy and paste the code underneath the photo - the photos will then be the correct size for us all to see clearly :good:

Yes, I use the skimmer and have done from the start - nothing tricky about them at all, just have to twiddle the little black button thing at the top to get the right flow. Just put the skimmer in the chamber at the far right (when you are looking at it from the front), try to get it as high as you can, when you put the lid down it will find it's natural height anyway :good:

HI All, I thought I would update you on where I am with the tank. Everything is ready for the live rock. My parametres are:
SP 1.024
Temp 24
PH 8

Will be getting Live rubble tomorrow & Cheato. Sat morning will be collecting my live rock. Its about an hour drive. I seem to be having a littlr difficuty using photobucket, so here is the link to a photo. The young girl in the photo is my daughter Leanna and its her tank & she wants loads of pink fish :sick:

I did take the lids as a given, could be a very wet & Dangerous drive. The drive is about an hours or so, so I am hoping for not too much die off....

Once the tank is fully cycled I may cheer my little girl up & get a pink fish. Any ideas? The boy want nemo so it will be a pair of clown fishes first.
