Its all cured.

Update:
- i have now got 1 cleaner shrimp
-dad HAD to get a harliquin shrimp
-mollys are having babies
-1 turbo and 3 astrea snails
-stats are all fine

ammonia is going no where, staying at 0, could this be because the LR i buy is out of a tank with fish so it already has the bacteria on it to get aMMONIA AWAY ?
 
chrissaysyes... im not really sure, i know they eat starfish but my dad just had to buy it and he said 'if it dies it dies' , at least i didnt have to pay for it, there is alot of star fish in my tank. hitch-hikers that came on the rock so hopefully it can feed on them.

I have another cleaner shrimp now, the other one is alot happier now that it has a mate and they both always come out.
The stats have been great for a while so i got my first fish too. A maroon clown, i know they can be agressive but for a fish of 3 inches in size and for £14 i couldnt say no, if it gets too agressive i will put it in the sump and sell it, im sure i will get more than what i paid for it because i have never seen a maroon clown as cheap as i got this one. (i have a secret shop)
I would show pics but in cant due to the pc problems.

If stats stay good then next weekend i might be getting a fairy or velvet wrasse. :)
 
Im still staying along the basic lines of
-5 yellow tangs
-1 or 2 wrasse
-maroon clown
-shoal of green chromis
-blenny or gobie
-powder blue or regal tang
-spotted mandarin

I got a feather duster worm today too. Its a shame i cant upload any pics yet, but i am taking them.
 
We know have 3 fish, the maroon clown, 6line wrasse, and a fairy wrasse. We are leaving the fish for a month or so now, just getting rock and the next fish will either be a foxface or a coral beauty angel (mum wants one really badly).

Still no pics due to internet problems.
 
Hello, sorry its been a while, internet now sorted.
Stock is now
-1 cleaner shrimp
-1 harlequin shrimp
-1 maroon clown
-1 fairy wrasse
-1 sixline wrasse
-1 foxface

There is 48kg of LR, 2kg to go.
I might be getting a waving hand coral or green star polyp coral tomorrow or within the next week as i have a good calcium level of 430.
ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate-0-10
ph-8.2
phosphate-0.

I will try and get pics up tomorrow as its a new pc.
Its really changed from when you guys last saw it :hyper:
 
Cant wait for the pics. Just a note, as important as proper calcium is (and yours is great), alkalinity is perhaps even more important for stony coral health/growth. Make sure you're checking that too :good:
