Zig Zag Spiney Eel But Not Sure If They Are Or Not

we bought some zig zag spiney eel Mastacembelus circumcintus ones as well

i wonder if they are what they are by what i see on the net they are

let us know what u think they are thanks

looks like a tyre track eel to me
but there are so many different names
of the same thing .but yes i would say

Yes, certainly look like Macrognathus circumcinctus. Nice fish, but as always with the smaller spiny eels, take care not to let them scratch themselves. Use smooth silica sand, not gravel, and avoid jagged rocks in favour of bogwood and floating plants. The addition of a little salt to the water, 1-2 g/l, can be very helpful.
