Zeolite Anybody Use It?

as the title says does anybody use zeolite? if so does it work well and does it have any drawbacks?

I don't use it. I believe it has the major drawback of a short period of effectiveness, rather like activated carbon.

It can be recharged in salt water can't it? It's just I got recommended it by a lfs and i can find 10kg bags for £5.99 I don't have any ammonia problems but was just wondering if. It was worth slinging in a media tray.
