A zebra Oto is just like a regular oto except it's black and white. I was hopeing to put some in a 20 gal. tank i'm planing to set up, but i can't find much info on it so i'm wondering if anyone has actually seen or kept any of these fish?

Here r some pictures

Hi Mikaila31 :)

I've never seen them at any lfs I go to, but once in a while they turn up on AquaBid.com.

When I see them at auction, I'm tempted to buy them, but since I would want to be certain that they are actually eating and healthy before I bought them, I never have. :/

Funnily enough I saw some today at Grosvenor Tropicals in Belfast which would be a bit of a long journey for you
Was tempted by them but didnt buy.Behaved just the same as regular otos.Pity I didnt see your post until now as I could have asked some questions for you.Unfortunately Im unlikely to be back there for a few weeks as its 40 miles away :/

IME, the healthiest fish we have gotten off the internet were from aquabid, just make sure the seller is good

Hi Dwarfs, :)

I agree with you on that. I've bought some great fish from sellers there, and they were all ones I would never have been able to find locally. Often, it's the only way to find certain fish.

But shipping is something to worry about too. It's well worth the money to have them sent the fastest way possible, especially now that the weather is getting colder. :D
