It's going to get all righteous in here if we're no extremely careful....I don't think this particular discussion about inaccuracies needs to go on any further hey guys? I was expecting a quick straight forward explanation of what inaccuracies other religions bibles hold (with references of course) but instead it's got a bit grim I take the question back, I don't care quite honestly what accuracies or inaccuracies there are any more if an argument will ensue because of it...

We all want to believe in different things and will no doubt find a way to support our own beliefs and find holes in other beliefs to strengthen our position...none of it is intentional I am sure, it's just us wanting to make sure our beliefs stay true.

No one is wrong, no one is right....we just "are", or if you'd sooner think in another way "Everyone if right"

after all its "state your views" not "get into a big fuss about things connected with our views" now is it?

Fair enough. Krib, if you still want me to provide you with chapters and verse/ line numbers then I will, otherwise feel free to just accept it as my personal interpretation of the text. I was merely pointing out how in my personal view, no religion is better than any other, and no holy text (in my view) can be completely trusted word for word. I did think it sounded arrogant to basically say (in different words) my religion is better than the others. And whilst your beliefs should be respected, so should the beliefs of the followers of the religions which aren't as good.

I think unless you specifically want some bits from me I'll now be leaving this thread alone. I don't want to start any uncontrollable arguments, and when people have strong beliefs in different areas, it's always a possibility, so at this point I shall bow out of this discussion.
