Your Single Most Useful Item

I would say the '4 Fluval Filter' as all my other small filters alwasy get clogged up very quickly and this one lasts ages before having to clean them and even after a month it handles so much more without a clean.
I only bought it for £10.50 from ebay and Viscum Water Gardens have them and said it is way more reliable than the '4 Fluval' and not common from braking down.

Also i just add a pipe attached to the plastic black pipe attached to the filter, the pipe gives out bubbles even without the eheim pump, it only needs to be a small pipe that sticks out of the water.

I have a second item that is sooo useful for everyone and even the fish, it's a small plastic piece that sticks on at the end of the pipe that gives oxygen, it stops the loud sucking noise that it makes and silences it completely.
Since the tank is in my living room but my grandma sleeps there in her bed, it really makes a difference for her.

This is the blower I'm talking about... I am feeding 17 tanks from it (vigorous aeration) and have an unconnected blow-off to reduce the agitation in the tanks.

It cost almost the same as this 8way airpump, but is 10 times more effective, and lasts 20 times longer... absolutely maintenance free.

my 5 gallon bucket for water changes on my 130 gallon is the most usefull...

kidding of course, i use a 25-30 gallon 'bucket', 'pail', 'drum' for water changes, but i think i want a python, i hate waterchanges so much lol

has to be my long bbq tongs. when your tank stands almost 5 foot high on top of its stand it saves standing ona chair and hanging in the tank to reacch the bottom at the back when doing maintainence/aquascaping.

That pump looks like a mini car! Im suprised your other sdie has'nt complained to oyu about your fish keeping ludwig! :good:

my best purchase has to be my hose pipe, alot like a python but with a power head pumping instead.

Test kit. Always the test kit.

In terms of equipment? My super large breeding trap. Perfect for keeping a betta comfortably seperated off for several days, even a week or more, if needed. Or my little plastic syringe. Makes feeding live food and doing water tests much easier.

Not got that many gadgets, tbh.
