Definitely. Amazed at how much junk comes out. Glad it stays in the pipes though.
My biggest gripe is how quickly fish die for no apparent or obvious reason in water with perfect parameters. I know things happen out of our control but it still makes me sad.
Another gripe is how the whole fish and aquarium sales industry will say anything just to make a sale with absolutely no regard to the well being of the fish or their customers who will end up with dead fish.

+1 on all this.

But I think my biggest gripe is about the average LFS. Their tanks are dirty, there are dead fish floating around, they don't know even as much as you do about what their fish need, and will, by intent or ignorance, sell anything to anyone just to make a few bucks, including fish, non-aquatic plants or equipment and supplies that aren't appropriate for your situation.

Obviously there must be an impact but i haven't noticed much difference with the electricity, even with 5 tanks running... Maybe the missus has though

Going to the fish shop with no money and then been depressed because of all the nice fish

Check AC mate, someone was selling Borelli for £6 a pair for a sexed pair. I believe they were Derby/Nottingham way on too so perfect for you.

Yep always the way,i wanted to get some adolfi corys a few weeks ago which they did have for a change,only for most of them to have stumps for barbels!! hence to say didnt get them!
