They dont have the same colour markings.
Im confused, theres a yellow one called Citrinis Goby aswell?
Damnit, what if I order one and it comes like that?
I wanted the peachy coloured one.

Omg, Now im confused.
Do I go for the Citrinis Clown Goby or the Catalina Goby.
The Catalina goby is such a stunner!

but citrinis means yellow/orange but mainly yellow i suppose if you mate a yellow with an orange you get peach lol

Im not going to argue - Im here to take advice!
So the catalina is a no go.
Back to Citrinis goby then, however im really after a peach one.
Think they might be hard to come by.
Anybody know of any other colourful gobys?

Hi YF

The Catalina Goby is a colder water fish and needs to be at 16-21 C, they don't last long in higher temps.

For the Gobies, there are three:

Yellow Clown Goby - Gobiodon okinawae
Green Clown Goby - Gobiodon histrio
Citrinis, Citron or Citrin Clown Goby - Gobiodon citrinus

Some of the Citrinis can be a bit more yellow than orange, but most are the orange/peach colour, if you are ordering from your LFS just ask them to make sure it's a orange/peach one.

Looking on Live aquaria some interesting gobies are:
Red Striped Goby
Green Banded Goby
Yellow Stripe clingfish (saw these at SW marines last week , amazing litlle things)

defo worthwhile going and looking in some LFS, as some relatively plain looking fish can have great colours, characters or paternation that some photos just can't pick up.
