Yeast...

Im just worried it may have a negative effect on the co2

Just bought a JBL C02 Kit. Its just like the yeast kit, But i find it a little more controlled. No worries about leaks no worries about spillage into the tank, Just all nice and controlled. The airlines are locked on with Bolts and has a nice little Glass Diffuser in the tank. Been running for around 12 hours now. And some nice bubbles coming out. Overall pretty happy with it. And it looks nicer next too the tank ;)

Im sure at some point ill get a Pressurized C02 Setup. but want too see how i get on with this at the moment.

Have you got a drop checker in the tank mate to keep an eye on the levels ?

no? Just came with the canister the diffuser, 1way Valves and the airline...

I would recommend a drop checker aswell as you do not want to be killing your fish with to much co2, see here. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CO2-WATER-DROP-CHECKER-CONTINUOUS-CO2-TEST-AQUARIUMS-/220772181975?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item33670c27d7

I didn't realise i needed one, I looked at getting one, But didn't think it was Needed. Look's like ill be taking a trip back too MA tomorrow

I doubt you'll get one at MA, is the CO2 aerosol or fermentation based?

You'll need 4dKH water and an acid based indicator such as Bromothymol blue also.

Look on ebay, there are some kits on there, most come with the indicator, you'll still need the 4DKH water however, though if you have a low range PH test kit, that should be a suitable indicator.

Its Fermentation based. Just like a DIY Yeast setup.
