I don't watch it because I don't agree with the concept. Take people who couldn't be bothered to put in the effort that other people do, and make them famous. Thereby ignoring someone who has spent the last 10 years working their butt off to try and get somewhere.

I don;t think that applies to all a lot of them have spent a long time trying to achieve something but never had the break. I think the concept is decent and I say that having a best mate whos super talented and busts his nuts out none stop for last 12 years and can;t seem to get past music clubs and small festivals yet he is far better and more talented as a singer , musician and songwriter than lots of famous people. His dad didn;t get his break till he was 55 and nows hes just sold over a million records. His dad always says he wished he;d had the chance of an x factor when he was younger doing crap jobs and gigging at night

If looks counted for nothing then musicians wouldn't need promo photos and head shots done as part of a press pack. It might suck, but what you look like is part of the package that the label sells.

I agree 100%....however i watched abit last night at my sisters, they were awful, some old guy dressing like elvis, nearly died laughing at him, but there was a lad called matt. now he was goooood

I'd like to see Matt win it because he sings from the heart with real passion and has such an amazing vocal range with great control.

A lot of them on there this year can't sing for toffee and are all over the place with pitch and singing off-key...worse offender by far is Wagner and I just cannot believe that he is still there when others who can actually sing somewhat are getting voted off! I mean, would all those people voting for him actually pay to buy and listen to his tracks? Take away the hilariously entertaining (or should I say embarrassing) performance with all the girls running around him, the dogdy dance moves and flambouyant costumes and what's left? Not a lot LOL

Me, I'd like Mary to win. She won't cos she doesn't "look" the part but for me she represents the 'normal' person - she's the everyone and I'd like her to win to show normal people can do it.

I've not been watching this series though; I happened to watch an hour or so but thats it.

I cant stand the show, or the concept. Cowells head is bigger than his bank balance, and the only reason wagner is still in it is to lure the general public into voting for the better acts. Just like Jedward were last year.

And what happens to them once they 'win'? They dont exactly go on to amazing careers do they? Infact, looking at the 'career' Jedward have had, it dosent look like you actually need to win anyway!

I agree with Athena, after hearing Matt sing again I think he has more feeling and genuine passion behind his voice and he does seem to have a wider range that he can cope with, I would actually like to see him win over any of the rest of them now. Mary was disappointing during her last performance
