I've been to a wedding last weekend..... Would you invite your ex to your wedding???

No I wouldn't, there would be more there than my family. Plus it might cheese off my current (just celebrated 11 years together) half. The past should be left in the past. Unless you feel you have something to prove, and that's just sad.

Yes I would, we get on well, better now than then and he is the father of my daughter. I have known him since I was 13 yrs old...........phew (I'm 52), so would be odd not too!

OK... What then if your 23 year old daughter/son (from the previous marraige) says he/she's not coming to your wedding if her mother/father is not invited..... would that be a motivator, or would you just tell them that they are then also not welcome??

I really would hope at 23 they would have a wee bit more sense and understand it wouldn't be a nice atmosphere with the other party being there.

But if that did happen I still would say "no" and try to talk my child round.

Children are different, Ex means Partner/spouse. It all depend's on how it ended and how you have managed to move on or not. We are all human and are all very diverse. Life it's not all that'd easy. Is it?

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no lol, my missus said she may invite her ex to ours as she had 3 kids with him but I said no thanks (he put her through hell), I dont wanna spend my day with that **** for brains around me and in the wedding photo's. GOD NO!!!!!

There is no way my wife to be would want my ex at our wedding, neither would i to be honest which is later this year. I would be getting another divorce before i even got married.
