My tank is slowly but surely, LEAKING! The seal at the front, bottom of the tank is letting water out. So I'm thinking screw trying to fix it. I wan't a new one and the fish in it asap. Just a matter of swapping everything. Means I'll have to phone in sick at work tomorrow. Do you think they will take me seriously when I tell them I have a major fish situation that I need to deal with?
Awww crap why me

(p.s. gonna buy a stand too, maybe I could get a bigger tank

Nice I like it, just a little white lie thanks for that SamUK. :D

or vomiting and diarrhea or death in the family work well

Just say I need the day of work due to unseen circumstances.

That's terrible!!! Better a slow leak than a major crack though. I took a day off work once so I could stay home and nurse a sick fish. My boss thought I was nuts!

How old is your tank?

z.

Just over a year. It's not on a proper fish tank stand. Just a big cabinet. Not sure if that whats caused it all.

What size tank is it? Just get a new tank of the same size and the proper fish stand and put the substrate in the tank then put the water and fish in the tank (put fish in containers to give time for poop and stuff to settle down) then put the filter and heater in and there ya go. Then you can fix the tank they were in and get more fish. :hey:

The best one is --- Family Problems, because they won't ask anymore questions and if they do then just say 'i'd rather not talk about it' and also, it gives you an excuss to perform badly for a little while! -- 'Sorry Boss, i've had some family issues!'

and if your boss doesn't like it then tell him to stick it up his fluval. :hyper:
