i had 2x SAE's in my 240L and 1 just chased the other so much its been stressing him/her out way too much. so i have removed one and the only tank i could find big enough is one of my cory species tanks thats 3ft and 100L. my corys have been spawning over the last 5 months and just wondered if the SAE would eat any eggs as they are very visible on the glass and easy to get at?
if it will does anyone want to buy a 3-3.5 inch SAE? very healthy and active and ive had it from just a few cm long

The answer to just about any question of the form "Will XYZ fish eat eggs?" is "Yes." Pretty much everything will eat eggs.

if you get a couple more SAE's the aggressive one might be fine. i've got 4 in my 240L and there's no aggression at all. they're a pretty typical shoaling fish so the bigger will always keep the others in check, and if there's only 2 the smaller will always get harassed. this all depends on if they are actually SAE's though (don't mean to sound patronising btw!) a lot of fish get sold as SAE's that aren't and they have a completely different temperament

they are 100% true SAE's. they were fine as juvis but as you said its the bigger one thats chasing the other. im really about fully stocked so dont really have the room for another two 6 inch fish im affraid, also the fast chasing sometimes does the discus' heads in..... there is no real aggression as such to cause damage just stress on the small SAE!
maybe i could sell the bigger one on as i dont want it to eat my cory eggs and dont really want the stress in the discus tank....

could you take it back to where you got it? swap it for some food or something?
1 on its own should be fine though

i used to skate, i really miss it but my legs dont work properly anymore!

its about 3 x the size of when i bought it and i got it from somewhere quite a way away so not really worth taking back....

 it does take its toll on the legs, im in my 30's now and still try but cant keep up with the youngsters anymore  i do more surfing and snowboarding these days as i find it easier and doesnt hurt as much when you need to bail...... :hey:
