Hey

I bought some javamoss from a shop a bit far from here that was brown. First I thought it was some kind of javamoss unknown to me but after asking around it must be a kind that is unknown to most people. (so my conclusion is that it is dead?)

The problem is that it is starting to cloudy my tank. Is there any chance it will come back to live or should I remove it as fast as possible,

The shop is to far away from here to return the moss and get my money back.

I would get rid of it and call it a day. If it's started to cloudy the water, it's most probably disintingrating and going mouldy.

yea I would probly remove it and just to see if it comes back get an glass jar put some aquarium wayer in it then put the java moss in it then place the jar in a window sil and see if it comes back its worth a try...

thanx for the advise. I will try to save it in a glass or something. kinda sad as none of the shops here sells javamoss.
