White spots on bamboo shrimp?

So hi, over the last few days I’ve noticed a few white spots form on the side of one of my bamboo shrimp (who has recently molted for the first time since I got her). it doesn’t look like examples of the infection white spot I see on most other pictures, as there are only around three or four spots on her. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi, I’ve just noticed the same problem on my bamboo shrimp... did u manage to figure out what they were? I’m getting a bit worried about them, they are lively and eating but not sure why they have the spots? Thank you!!

Don't.worry about the spots. As long.as they are.filtering the water and.not scooping at the substrate, they are ok. They need flow in a tank, so be sure to either have a high flow filter, or get a circulation pump/fan for in the tank. If you see them pawing at the floor, there is an issue. They are hungry. This is why you need lots of flow in the tank. They won't last very long without it. Considering they only live a couple years optimally, you wanna make sure you give them the best chance.

I don't think shrimps can get white spots...
Just my opinion.

This thread is from 2020 so probably not going to be a response form the OP.

Shrimp and crabs cannot get white spot because the parasites cannot burrow through the shrimp's shell.

As for the white marks in the shrimp, it could be the start of a microsporidian infection or colouration.
