White Butt Spot Gone Red

Calypsos egg spot has started to turn red.

I don't know wether this is normal.

Is she ready to breed?

Is there a problem with her?

She seems fine. She doesn't look to have any problems. I'll have to keep an eye on her and keep you informed on any problems that arise.

perhaps irrataion from internal parasites? like worms or something. Could be nothing, but I would ask over in the emergency section too.

Fraid not. My camera is buggered.

keep a very careful eye on her. I have never had this on a betta. But, years and years ago my little kids had a lovely goldfish and it started bleeding from underneath somewhere they were so upset. Never seen it happen before or since.
