I want to add pressurized C02 to my 380l tank. However, I don't know which ones are considered the 'best'. I've looked at JBL, Aqua Medic and Dennerle kits so for but can't make up my mind. Basically I am looking for a complete kit including solenoid valve.

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated to help me make up my mind.

Thanks in advance.

Well a good CO2 system would be the Doctor Foster and Smith Deluxe Fully-Atomatic CO2 System. This is what it includes. System includes: CO2 Pressure Regulator with solenoid, Bubble Counter, Maxijet Powerhead, Pinpoint pH Controller, 20 ft Silicone Tubing, 10 ft Flexible Vinyl 1/2" Tubing, Aqua Medic CO2 Reactor 1000, Water Pump Return Spout, ball valve, and plastic clamps. Assembly instructions included. . Also you can get Doctors Foster and Smith Semi-Automatic CO2 System. This is what it includes. System includes: CO2 Pressure Regulator with solenoid, Grasslin Timer, CO2 Glass Diffuser, Bubble Counter with built-in check valve, 20 feet of Silicone Tubing. . The phone number for Doctors Foster and Smith is 1-800-443-1160. When you call request for a Aquarium cataloge. Sorry if you live out of the United States because this is only for the United States. Hope this advice helped you. :)

Do you mean killer setup as a setup that is too extreme or a cool setup that is good

I have recently bought the JBL Pro Flora 2 which comes with the solenoid. Easy to set up-5 mins top! I did change the diffuser though as the JBL one is big and ugly. I got one of the glass diffusers from Aqua Essentials.

Well I also think it is a good system. About the discount The first time you order they give you a $5.00 discount on your order. The second time I ordered they gave me a $10.00 discount of my first order of $90.00 or more. If you want to ordere a catalog go to the hardware section of this forum and go to the topic of free aquarium catalogs. Well I hope you enjoy your experience at Doctors Foster and Smith. :good: :good:

For a 380l tank you would probably need to consider a regular sized cylinder setup, the 500gram cylinders that come with the ready to go hobby kits would be to small for a tank of 380l, they would work, but you would be constantly changing the cylinder to get it refilled as 500grams would not last very long at all on a tank that size, have a look in the planted section on this forum and you will find lots more info if you do a search.

i am just havin a bit of fun, rafael, i mean no offense. i do have the catalog, and will be ordering as soon as possible.. thanks

And I use a really good Sera regulator fitted to a 30lb bottle. Should be good for two years at least!
