What's Your Favourite Colouring For A Betta?

The colors I love are red, blue, black.

And all the ones I like are all of them except pink, I hate pink.

I like peach, white, purple and light blue best. I think the dark coloured ones can look a bit scary .

I love the blues and my favorite would have to be the MustardGas. I found a so so one here the otherday but would love to get my hands on a nice halfmoon one.

I am not a fan of marble but dalmation is cute

Not too keen on mustard or chocolate, and I don't particularly like the marbles.


I love pure while, a really good black, corn-flower blue, a really fantastic green, those velvety blue/purple ones with black heads and anything striking with butterful markings.

I also love a really bright red and blue mix. Oz is a rusty red with green and blue iridesence. He's not that stunning, but obviously I love him.

hate; any coloured fish with splodges of colour, has to be a strong colour, or easy to see difference. Marbles, coppers, iridesent colours of any kind.

MARBLES - without a doubt! and their ever changing colours. I also like deep red or deep blue, not overly keen on the paler colours such as pure white, yellow or orange, they look rather washed out to me!

I am DETERMINED to own a pure brilliant white /platinum betta. Not really sure I have a least favourite .

I don't like those dark blue ones you see in every LFS. For fancy bred ones, I don't like marble, grizzled, and spotty ones.
I love pure white/iridescent/cellophane and 3 of my faves I've ever seen are on this thread. The copper, fist pic on post 562, and the 2 I posted, 574, 575. I love any that looks like a fancy goldfish, and so much better suited to life in a smaller tank
I think I like delta/super delta tails over HMs too.
