whats this thing

i noticed little white circular things on my glass and heater. what is it? is it ok to be in my tank? thnx for any help
plz tell me if u need info on whats in my tank

I have them coming out all over my glass, they are small feather dusters. You can knock him off if you like, it wont hurt him.

I can't tell from the photo what I am supposed to be looking at. Those larger white things are not feather-dustors or tube worms. But if they are flat, you have a problem.

A closer pic would help, but I belive it is a stomatella. If so it is OK. They will munch on algae all day long.

They are a bit like a snail, but don't live as long.

Does it have any defining features?

I put a lense on mine, looks like a small feather to me. I am going to mark it position with a piece of tape to see if it moves or not. We are talking about the small white curled little things with reddish tenicals sticking out on the outer most end, right? Or is it just a small white disk? Here is a photo of a type of stomatella:
