As anyone can see I cant have the Zebra, fair enough but I would still like a small colourful cat, so can someone point me in the right direction?

It will be in a 10 Gallon, not a lot of space, sorry  I know I would like more and will live with tetra's and a Betta

Cheers Dan

Otos or Corydorya are the only catfish you should consider for a 10G cat, 3 of either species would work fine.

Ben

Hi thanks unsure about the Oto as I am a bit inexperienced but three of these would look good I think:

Yes they will work if you can get hold of them but corys need their diet substituted with catfish pelets and/or algae wafers and prefer to have sand instead of gravel in their tank and need somwhere dark like a cave to shelter/hide during the day when they need to, otos will also need their diet substituted with algae wafers.

Well the cave isnt an issue guess I'm going to have to have a look at replacing the substrate with Sand, oh well, gives me something to do! :/

Cheers

Dan

that or very fine gravel will be fine for corys. They do not HAVE to have sand, "quartz gravel" which is typically 1-2mm in diameter is perfectly fine for corys.

Ben

I think I will go for sand as the gravel I have at the moment is fairly corse, 4mm ish!

It came with the tank.
Also I think sand would look pretty sweet with the plants and those cats.

Thanks

Dan
