What Size Tanks Are All Your Bettas In?

I usually keep my boys in 2.5 - 3.5 gallon tanks. Currently I have one in 2 in a 2.5 and one in a 10g, not filtered.

I have one of my males in his own 5 US gallon tank, with minature silk plants, a lid of course and a straight line of sight to my 30 gallon aquarium of community fish, the larger tank has another betta in there as well, where he's been for a solid 2 years now =)

(US gallons)

Bliss and Tux each have their own 1 gallon
Steele has her own two gallon
Then 7 of my girls share a 20 gallon high with four otos.

9 girls in a 26 G [US]

1 male in a 3 G [US]

4 males in 1.5 - 2 G [US] + 1 female in another [hospital tank]

*and no the kitty doesnt really bother them and they are covered* LOL

At the moment a 4 gal (US) but I think after all your advise I may get a bigger tank ....

I heard that Betta's get nervous in a large tank because in the wild a lot of them live in puddles and even in horse shoe foot prints on the edge of rice patties.

But it sounds for your experiences that this is not necessarily the case :)
Yep, because they mainly live in the huge rice paddies themselves....if they are in puddles they wont be there out of choice.

I have one male in a 50gal community :good:.
