What Size Tank Is A Betta Happy In

i was thinking about getting a small tank this weekend for a betta but anyone have any idea what tank size the fish would be happy in i want small but of course i want to keep the fish happy also

i would say a minimum of 5 gallons

Yeah 5 gallon is fine but if you want to add any buddies for him then you're better off getting a 10 gallon

I think il have him solo due to when i was a teen a had one that really hated every other fish i tried with him he ended up with the name The Beast he lived for 3 years so he must of been fairly happy
