what salt do you prefer

What kind of salt do you prefer? I use Instant Ocean.

i did vote but clicked instant ocean instead of kent marine, ive also used tropic marine with extra calcium. but i dont really like swapping them around . Ican get a bucket of 750ltr kent marine for £ 40 which is normaly £80 odd *BARGAIN*

I use Coralife, its been working out just fine and the kids get a free T-shirt with every 5 gallons pail. I like the pail

you ask were i get it from well the owner of the shop buys in bulk and gets it very cheap he has 4 Buckets left and needs to make another order, so before he does he wants to sell the old stock first hence me get it cheap as chips. where about are you if interested and not to far away could have a word in his ear for you

I was thinking about moving to reef crystals does anybody use them and have a opinion on this.

I think reef crystals are a good salt. They have higher than averge calium levels in them which is good for corals. People advise that reef crystaks should not be used for new tanks (not sure why) and wait for the tank to mature befoe using Reef crystals (about 6 months at least).

I just switched to oceanic from instant ocean. the O salt dissolves much faster than IO, authough its more expinsive.

Ofcourse not! It pays to live near the beach, allthough my car doesn't dig it that much, so much so that it decided that rusty red looked better than fire truck red
