True that. The next time you hear somebody say they're bored take a long look at them and size them up. Chances are they are somebody you wish would go away.
Everyone gets bored... So this is a false statement

But I get bored a lot... That means I'm boring and you shouldnt hang out around me.
Negatory ! I refuse to believe you are boring. That absolutely cannot be so ! You have those Gudgeons man ! That ain't boring .

would say I’m pretty plain. It used to bother me a lot, my general lack uniqueness, but my family refused to let me go down that mental road for too long.
I feel like as you get older, you eventually except who you are as a person. Like when I was younger, I used to think I was ugly* and skinny. Now I just except my body and what I look like. Also a few years ago I used to be so embarrassed about my acne, now it doesn’t even bother me anymore.

*just so none of you think I hate myself, I no longer think I’m ugly, lol. That was 5 years ago when I had that mentality. 🥲

Most of the time when people say they are bored, it’s because they are just laying on their bed on their phone. There’s 10 things they could be doing that’s much more productive than being on their phone. (Going outside, working out, playing an instrument, cleaning your room, etc)

@Lemon, you’re colorization is cool as heck!!! It’s stunning and so unique!

I would say I’m pretty plain. It used to bother me a lot, my general lack uniqueness, but my family refused to let me go down that mental road for too long. I don’t need to live for anyone else but me. As long as I do what makes me happy, then what does it matter being unique and standing out? I love my siblings and my mom a lot. Honestly a perfect evening when we’re all home is to form a snuggle pile on the couch while munching on mozzarella sticks with the latest tv show we’re all interested in on the tele (Gentleman Jack right now). I like to watch anime, read manga/manhua/ manhwa, play games, and dabbling in art. I made my first layered paper art not too long ago and while it’s definitely not perfect I’m super proud of how well it turned out!

I have scoliosis which I wore a back brace to prevent from getting worse for about 3 years (24 hours a day for 2 years and 8 hours a day for the last year) I have a terrible memory but I will always have the gobsmacked expressions of my classmates when I took the back brace off during pe/during class when the brace hurt my back too much engrained in my mind. I remember there was one rude classmate who punched people in the stomach when they annoyed her and she went to punch me and CRACK! My back brace served as very important armor and since then she avoided me like the plague.

I’m also allergic to literally everything. I wish I was exaggerating but nope. I had my allergies professionally tested with a scale of 0-4 with 4 being the most severe and basically the only thing I wasn’t allergic to was dust mites. Grass ranked 4++. Dogs ranked 4++. Cats ranked 4++. Various trees and shrubs ranked 4++. I don’t think much was lower than a 3. So I got 6 allergy shots a week for 3 years to deal with that and lemme tell you those shots work wonders! I still can’t pet cats without getting a rash (not that that stops me) and I can live with my pups perfectly fine! (There there was some forced immunization there because I refused to part with them even when I did react lol. I forced my body to get good.) I get mild rashes when helping my family with yard work but showers afterwards help with that.

Oh! And one interesting story I have is that one of my medications causes vivid dreams as a side effect, and when I first started taking it, I had an extremely realistic dream. It was a much older time period. Like the 1800s. I was a stable hand and I lived with my mom who was a weaver. Three days passed in that dream and I vividly remember the smells of cleaning after horses, the clacking sound of my moms looms, I remember bartering in a market while selling my moms fabrics. When I woke up the next morning I was extremely confused as to where I was for a solid 30 seconds. Luckily, all my next dreams, while more vivid, definitely feel like actual wonky dreams rather than accidentally viewing memories from a last life. 😂
So sorry to hear you have all of those allergies, that must really suck especially during the summer when all the plants are releasing pollen. :/

Everyone should have to read these two cool booklets.

Okay , here's my last shot at you. Start reading comics. Not the standard Marvel zombie superhero pablum but the weird and dark and strange stuff you find at Fantagraphics and places like that. That'll snap you out of your funk.
Sorry to say, but I hate comic books... Everytime I think of comic books I think of some weird creepy dude collecting up comics in his moms basement 😂

Well... I'm totally blind in my right eye due to an injury while in the military and the eye looks rather weird but it's still part of me even though it no longer works. It does cause some issues as to depth perception but not anything that the human mind can't overcome if one allows. Two years after losing the sight in the eye I got an MVP award in a softball tournament playing outfield. If playing outfield does not involve depth perception tell me what does.

Your question is a hard one to answer... I guess my best response is that I don't allow anything, whether it be what some would call a disability or outside influences, to be a factor in what I want my life to be.

My outlook on life was not always like this. My outlook was drastically changed when I died. LOL! Read "died" as a near death experience while in the military.
My career before retirement was being a CNA. I loved what I was doing. But, alas, my bones started giving me issues. So I decided it was time to retire. I didn't want to put any patients in danger if a joint locked while I was transferring or helping a patient and I caused them injury. But back to your post...I had to encourage everyone that has a "disability". I don't believe that a disability is a disadvantage. I believe that it's an "inconvenience." A person can do anything(within reason) that they put their mind to. There are some limitations, but one will never know their full potential until they try.

True to some extent but for example I had to give up my dream career before it even started (before even starting college) because my body physically is incapable. When you cant even go to the grocery store without having to sit down in the aisle at 19 i think you have a slight disadvantage  not to say i cant push through and do thibgs sometimes, and you never know until you try, but also sometimes you just need to be told its okay to have limitations. It took me a ling time to learn that and i still struggle with it. :)
