Santa isn't real? you learn something everyday...but at least the Easter Bunny is real!
Of course, the easter bunny is real it comes from Easter Island. Everyone knows that. I get easter eggs at Easter and presents at Christmas and I hope you are all jealous.

There's nothing really special about me that would endear me to "normal" people. I'm not boring. I heard that word - boring - mentioned. People who say they are bored are waiting on somebody else to entertain them and I never do that because I live in a very interesting world inside my head that is fascinating and frightening and just as cool as you can imagine. We all have access to that world but many people seem to prefer the World of Mendacity and never venture forth. I'm just old enough that I know more dead people than live ones. Everybody I ever cared to know has either moved on long ago or croaked , except two grown daughters and six grandchildren but that's OK . Me and the people and memories in my inner world not slowing down. My advice to everyone is to look inside . It's awesome !
Oh , and by the way , Leucism Girl . Years ago I met a guy like you. I wish I had made the effort to befriend him. He was so smart , not smart like some people think they're smart but really actually knowledgable smart. That guy knew everything but he didn't lord it over anybody and he was warmly and humanly nice. The kind of guy you only meet once in your life.

A friends dad kept telling her santa was real throughout middle school and when she confronted him for lying to her he tried to convince her that all her friends were the ones lying and santa is real etc etc
Now thats just sad...

I did remember actually one thing that's special about me. My eyes are usually a hazel color (a mix of brown and green with a tint of blue) but every now and then my eyes change colors to a deeper blue or lighter blue. Sometimes a green even! Today my eyes are mostly a brownish green but occasionally I will look into the mirror and see blue eyes

I taught thousands of students during my career, and nothing you could see at a first glance was ever special. It was just them, maybe challenging to their lives, maybe different from mine, maybe not. Special was what people said and did, not what their genetics, or luck played out as. Skin is only skin deep.

I believe in the one Santa though. I know there's lots of evidence to the contrary, but my faith is unwavering. The Easter Bunny? There's no way a rabbit drives a sled pulled by reindeer. I mean, get real. I can see a bunny covering New Zealand so I won't disagree with @itiwhetu , but the whole world? The bunny would have to reproduce very quickly to pull that off.

Its still things special to us no matter how you view it, genetics or not.

Also, you confused the Easter bunny with Santa lol. The easter bunny doesnt drive a sled with reindeer.

@Lemon, you’re colorization is cool as heck!!! It’s stunning and so unique!

I would say I’m pretty plain. It used to bother me a lot, my general lack uniqueness, but my family refused to let me go down that mental road for too long. I don’t need to live for anyone else but me. As long as I do what makes me happy, then what does it matter being unique and standing out? I love my siblings and my mom a lot. Honestly a perfect evening when we’re all home is to form a snuggle pile on the couch while munching on mozzarella sticks with the latest tv show we’re all interested in on the tele (Gentleman Jack right now). I like to watch anime, read manga/manhua/ manhwa, play games, and dabbling in art. I made my first layered paper art not too long ago and while it’s definitely not perfect I’m super proud of how well it turned out!

I have scoliosis which I wore a back brace to prevent from getting worse for about 3 years (24 hours a day for 2 years and 8 hours a day for the last year) I have a terrible memory but I will always have the gobsmacked expressions of my classmates when I took the back brace off during pe/during class when the brace hurt my back too much engrained in my mind. I remember there was one rude classmate who punched people in the stomach when they annoyed her and she went to punch me and CRACK! My back brace served as very important armor and since then she avoided me like the plague.

I’m also allergic to literally everything. I wish I was exaggerating but nope. I had my allergies professionally tested with a scale of 0-4 with 4 being the most severe and basically the only thing I wasn’t allergic to was dust mites. Grass ranked 4++. Dogs ranked 4++. Cats ranked 4++. Various trees and shrubs ranked 4++. I don’t think much was lower than a 3. So I got 6 allergy shots a week for 3 years to deal with that and lemme tell you those shots work wonders! I still can’t pet cats without getting a rash (not that that stops me) and I can live with my pups perfectly fine! (There there was some forced immunization there because I refused to part with them even when I did react lol. I forced my body to get good.) I get mild rashes when helping my family with yard work but showers afterwards help with that.

Oh! And one interesting story I have is that one of my medications causes vivid dreams as a side effect, and when I first started taking it, I had an extremely realistic dream. It was a much older time period. Like the 1800s. I was a stable hand and I lived with my mom who was a weaver. Three days passed in that dream and I vividly remember the smells of cleaning after horses, the clacking sound of my moms looms, I remember bartering in a market while selling my moms fabrics. When I woke up the next morning I was extremely confused as to where I was for a solid 30 seconds. Luckily, all my next dreams, while more vivid, definitely feel like actual wonky dreams rather than accidentally viewing memories from a last life. 😂
