What live food should i breed to feed my oscar and what i need. I have till september.

Just feed him grated ox heart. There is no live food that gets big enough for an Oscar that size. Unless you are going to breed goldfish and feed the Oscar the fry.

If you have a 7 inch Oscar, it is presumably in a big tank. If the tank is on a decent stand you might be able to put a couple of smaller tanks under the main tank. You can fill these with live plants, have a light above them, add a sponge filter and put some shrimp in them. Feed the shrimp 3 times a day with flake food. Do big water changes and gravel cleans every week. The shrimp will breed and you can feed them to the fish or sell any extras. You can also sell the plants and use the money to pay for other foods for the Oscar.

You can use glass/ ghost shrimp or any of the fancy coloured aquarium shrimp.

Earthworms are a better choice for a big cichlid compared to white worms. Get an earthworm farm from a hardware store or nursery. Add some earthworms (available from the same place). Feed them some vege scraps and let them grow. In 6 months time you will be able to grab a few worms whenever you want, rinse them under tap water and feed them to the fish.
