What live food should i breed to feed my oscar and what i need. I have till september.

Oscars are big fish. Adults and fry are big. Anything you feed adults should be big and meaty like earthworms , grasshoppers and Scuds (Freshwater Gammarus shrimp) . Those three can be used in their smaller sizes for fry. I would try to get a white worm culture going. If you have a cool place that never gets above 60 degrees Fahrenheit a white worm culture is simple and long lasting with care. I just have to think that Oscars may be a really easy fish to feed.

Do white worm live in water?

White worm culturing is done in a small wood box (approx. 18" X 6" X 6" deep) with a potting soil , peat , soil medium. The worms only live in water until they are eaten. @AbbeysDad I need a little help here O Whiteworm expert.

Then go with the Freshwater Gammarus shrimp (scuds). Where you would find a starter culture I don't know but they are common and should be easy to find. The supplier of that starter culture will be able to give you culture care instructions.
