What Is Your Job?

Has anyone had a varied career?

EG - I started as a chef, then did a total change to work for Airtours in sales and was quickly swapped to the IT dept, looking after IT in the call-centres and doing some resort support (been to most holiday places in Europe, mainly saw Airport->Taxi->Resort Office->Taxi->Airport.... ) Now in my current role doing IT for CSC.

I graduated from university with a law degree July this year, and am working as a business development manager for a toy wholesaler. We sell those awesome pedal and electric children's cars that are made by Ferrari, Lamborghini etc.

I was VERY lucky to get a job after finishing uni. My partner who also has a law degree has been unable to find work. He has quite literally just been offered some temp Christmas work in a game shop. It is a bit depressing that he spend £20,000 on university, has a law degree and is unable to get a job :(

may sound like a daft question but what do you want to do with your law degree? are you interested in becoming a solicitor ?

Don't get your hopes up too high Pest..... My daughter is a vet, & you'll be surprised how much of your work goes out to be "for charity"....

You must obviously have a love for animals, but it must not be a compassionate love.... you'll go bankrupt in a month.... Select your reasons for the right reason, and not exclusively "to become rich".... It won't materialise.

i know someone who is training to be a vet and they arn't great earners!

she's working with a vet who has been qualified 7 years and is only pulling 30k a year.
