I have a soft soft for Fahaka Puffers (tetraodon lineatus which are freshwater, get pretty big are are very, very aggresive & preditory.
But then all species of puffer are preditors and should not be kept with anything you would mind losing, even the so called 'peaceful' species like South Americans can become suddenly aggresive without warning and wipe out their tankmates overnight.
It's only a matter of time.....
SAP's and Fig 8's but I own them so... One that I don't own, but would love to have a huge tank for is the mbu puffer. Oh and any of the marine ones too
Our mbu has the biggest personality, he is 2ft long and the most interactive and gentlest of all. But it is a great honour when you get the trust of a humpback puffer.
Our lineatus has a de formed lip so I have a real soft spot for him and who can resist those cute little figure eight and spotted bundles swimming happily all around. Basically, ALL OF THEM!
