What Is This!?!?

I noticed this on my driftwood today, not sure what it is.  hoping its not bad.  is it a fungas or maby some sort of eggs?  i dont think its eggs as i only have rosey barbs, gourami, and apple snales and it doesnt look like eggs from any of those i dont think.  i just want to make sure its not dangeras to my fish.  thanks for your help.

It's kind of hard to tell.  Is it Mopani wood?   Might be sap.

it is mopani wood.  after googleing mopani wood sap i think that is what it is.  Thanks for the thought.  will the sap hurt the fish?  is it weird to have sap leach out after the wood has been in the tank over a month?
