What gender are these BN plecos?

In these first two photos is the BN pleco in my main tank. The fish is a little over an inch I’m length and I’m confused on its gender. It has small nubs along the length of its lips but not on its head or between the eyes so I’m unsure if it’s female.

The next two photos are of the BN pleco sharing a tank with my betta. I’ve raised them from small babies separately as I know males can be territorial as they mature and wanted to avoid any aggression. This one DOES have branchy nubs along It’s lips and I think some on it’s snout but, again, I’m not sure. Anyone here able to give me an answer?
